These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) govern your access to Hotshot College, Hotshot Shield, Trust ID, HotshotGPT, community features, courses, websites and related services (collectively, the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
1. Who may use the Services
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a binding agreement. You must give accurate account information, keep your credentials secure, and promptly update information that changes. Account types such as operator, dispatcher, shipper, carrier, and broker describe a user-selected role; they are not a license, endorsement, employment classification, or verification by Hotshot College.
2. What Hotshot College provides
The Services help people find and organize transportation-related public records, user-submitted experiences, evidence, educational material, tools, and communications. A Trust ID is an evidence record, not a certification of honesty, safety, authority, insurance, creditworthiness, employability, or suitability for a load. HSC accreditation, when shown, is a separate program with its own published standards and must not be inferred when a profile says it is unclaimed or not accredited.
3. Official records and data freshness
Some information comes from FMCSA, other government sources, insurers, producers, business records, or third-party providers. We may cache and normalize source data so searches are faster. Official data can be delayed, incomplete, corrected, unavailable, or changed after our last check. Each important field should be read together with its source, checked-at time, and any warning or dispute. Always verify operating authority, insurance, identity, and contact information directly with the applicable primary source before acting. Government agencies and data providers do not endorse Hotshot College.
4. Reviews, complaints, replies, and other user content
Reviews, complaints, replies, questions, comments, messages, files, and other material submitted by users are the independent statements and opinions of those users. They are not statements, findings, endorsements, or guarantees by Hotshot College. A complaint is an allegation unless and until supported and resolved; an unclaimed profile is not evidence that a business is unsafe or untrustworthy.
You may submit content only when it is based on a real experience or evidence you are authorized to provide. You must distinguish firsthand facts from opinion, disclose material relationships, and must not submit fake, purchased, incentivized, retaliatory, defamatory, harassing, discriminatory, deceptive, or unlawfully obtained material. You must not impersonate another person or business, expose unnecessary personal information, manipulate ratings, coordinate false reports, or threaten anyone to obtain, remove, or change a review.
You remain responsible for your content. You grant Hotshot College a worldwide, nonexclusive, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, format, moderate, analyze, and display it as needed to operate and improve the Services. You retain ownership of your content. We may label, limit, preserve, remove, or refer content for review when reasonably necessary for safety, integrity, law, or these Terms. Moderation does not make Hotshot College the author of user content and does not guarantee that every item is accurate or that every objection will result in removal.
5. Corrections, disputes, responses, and appeals
Affected people and businesses may use the available claim, correction, response, evidence, and appeal processes. We may ask for proof of identity, authority, control of an official contact route, or supporting evidence. Claiming a profile confirms the approved control relationship only; it does not automatically validate every fact on the record. We may preserve audit history and legal holds even when public display changes.
6. TrustScore and automated analysis
Scores, warnings, labels, summaries, and relationship signals are decision-support tools. They may omit facts, reflect dated inputs, or change as evidence changes. Unsupported or anonymous allegations should not determine a score. No score or label is a final decision about a person or business. You must review the underlying evidence and make your own lawful, independent decision.
The Services are not offered as a consumer report or employment background-screening service. You may not use Trust ID, TrustScore, Operator Passport, reviews, complaints, or AI-generated material as the sole basis for hiring, firing, promotion, retention, worker classification, credit, insurance, housing, licensing, or another eligibility decision. If your use is governed by the Fair Credit Reporting Act, equal-employment laws, state background-check laws, or similar rules, you are solely responsible for using an authorized compliant process, obtaining required consent, giving required notices and copies, allowing disputes, and following adverse-action procedures.
7. HotshotGPT and artificial intelligence
HotshotGPT and other AI features can make mistakes. AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, misleading, or fabricated, even when it sounds confident. It is not “gospel,” a verified fact, or legal, financial, insurance, medical, safety, employment, or regulatory advice. Verify important statements against current primary sources and qualified professionals. Do not rely on AI to make a final safety, booking, employment, insurance, moderation, or scoring decision. You are responsible for the prompts, information, and actions you choose.
8. Your business decisions and assumption of risk
You are responsible for due diligence and for every decision to contact, hire, dispatch, tender, accept, book, haul, pay, insure, or do business with anyone. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hotshot College is not responsible for loss of employment, loss of a load or booking, loss of revenue, loss of business, reputational harm, cargo loss, payment failure, fraud, or another consequence resulting from a user’s independent review or complaint, an official source, an AI output, a score, your interpretation of a profile, or your decision to use or not use the Services. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Acceptable use
You must not use the Services to break the law; facilitate fraud, cargo theft, double brokering, identity theft, stalking, harassment, discrimination, or retaliation; scrape or bulk-export data without written permission; bypass access, rate, privacy, evidence, or subscription controls; probe security without authorization; upload malware; interfere with the Services; use automated accounts to manufacture activity; or use personal data for a purpose incompatible with the Privacy Policy. Voice search must not be used in a way that distracts from safe driving.
10. Communications and notifications
We may send service messages about your account, security, claims, disputes, purchases, subscriptions, records you manage, and preferences. Marketing email and text messages, if offered, require the consent or other lawful basis applicable to the channel and include required opt-out controls. Message and data rates may apply. You may change available communication preferences, but some essential transactional or security messages cannot be disabled while an account remains active.
11. Purchases, subscriptions, and third-party services
Prices, billing intervals, included features, renewal terms, cancellation rules, and refund terms shown at checkout form part of your purchase. Payment processing may be handled by third parties, and their terms also apply. A paid feature does not buy a favorable review, score, complaint outcome, accreditation result, or moderation decision. Links, maps, AI providers, government sources, communications providers, insurers, and other third-party services are governed by their own terms and availability.
12. Intellectual property and notices
The Services, software, designs, trademarks, and original content are owned by Hotshot College or its licensors and are protected by law. These Terms do not transfer ownership. You may use the Services only for their intended purpose. If you believe content infringes your rights, contact us with enough information to identify the work, the material, your authority, and a way to reach you.
13. Suspension and termination
We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users, evidence, infrastructure, legal compliance, or the integrity of the Services. We may preserve records required for disputes, fraud prevention, security, legal holds, accounting, or law. You may stop using the Services at any time and may request account action through available support channels.
14. Disclaimers
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HOTSHOT COLLEGE DISCLAIMS IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, AND UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT A RECORD, REVIEW, COMPLAINT, SCORE, INSURANCE INDICATOR, AI OUTPUT, USER, OR BUSINESS IS ACCURATE, COMPLETE, CURRENT, SAFE, AUTHORIZED, INSURED, SOLVENT, OR SUITABLE.
15. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HOTSHOT COLLEGE AND ITS AFFILIATES, PERSONNEL, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES; LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, EMPLOYMENT, BOOKINGS, LOADS, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES; OR LOSSES CAUSED BY FRAUD, USER CONTENT, THIRD-PARTY DATA, AI OUTPUT, OUTAGES, OR BUSINESS DECISIONS. WHERE LIABILITY CANNOT BE EXCLUDED, OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO A CLAIM WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID HOTSHOT COLLEGE FOR THE AFFECTED SERVICE DURING THE PREVIOUS 12 MONTHS OR $100. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so part of this section may not apply to you.
16. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you will defend and indemnify Hotshot College and its affiliates and personnel from third-party claims arising from your content, unlawful conduct, breach of these Terms, misuse of records or personal data, or business and eligibility decisions you make using the Services.
17. Changes and general terms
We may update these Terms as the Services or law changes. We will post the revised date and provide additional notice when required. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer your account or these Terms without permission; we may transfer them as part of a merger, financing, reorganization, or sale of the Services. Applicable law controls without overriding rights that cannot be waived.

These Terms are a product policy draft and should be reviewed by qualified counsel for the business entity, operating state, dispute terms, industry licensing, and each communications program before broad commercial launch.
